Good Motherboard
September 22nd, 2013
my case is COOLER MASTER HAF 912 MicroATX/ATX
for what CPU/memory ?
all 3 have to match up
I’d go with Asus Sabertooth p67+I5 2500k and some corsair life time warranty ddr3 (not 100% if its ddr3 but fairly certain)= pretty damn good gaming rig for its budget built.

Fail =(

GTX 560 Ti or if you can afford it a GTX 570
Dropping the end of this month is a GTX 560 Ti 448 Core w/ 1.25 GB of RAM.
Forgot to mention gtx 560 ti, in all honesty just save for it so you can get that extra umf from it.

yea i think ill do tht
Anything ASUS.
what kind of cpu you wanting to use?? AMD or intel? what kinda budget?

People still buying AMD? lol, you should take a look at the market =(
AMD only challenges the i5-2500K with one processor (their newest, biggest and best)!
yeah i agree BUT AMD are better for people like me who like to tinker about and overclock, also AMD better for lower budgets

Nope.
also AMD better for lower budgets
Nope.
it dont matter if its intel or AMD i just want something i can upgrade down the line
i had this on mind first http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=18572066
Go with intel, their cpu chips are better than amd. Got friends that compete with theirs and the one with intel has better benchmarks while the other is a die hard amd fan so there is no use in competing with him haha.
But like my original post said i5-2500k, sabertooth p67 (or anything asus), gtx 560ti, corsair ram. This should be a good budget build.
You people and your p67s…
Z68s can run ivybridge, in case you want to upgrade in the future.
AMD cpus generally have better value when you’re spending <$150 on a cpu.

All I have to say about that is Intel Core i3-2120 for $129 USD.
Benchmarks better than many AMD x6 (6 core) processors with gaming performance.
so would this be good???

Yea, that looks good.
I would suggest getting the 2GB version of that graphics card.

Also, I would suggest is go with the TX 750 V2, that way if you decide to get a second video card for SLI, you will be good to go (and its only $10 more).

I strongly advise getting the 2GB over this junk.

Those are ok, but the Corsair is solid, i have installed a few of them, no problems.

1). Junk? Lol. This must be the funniest thing I have read today.
2). The corsair one TX650 V2 is internally Seasonic-made with some changes. :/ And quite interestingly it costs a lot more than Seasonic. I don’t see a reason to buy Corsair. And XFX on the other hand is awesome value for money.
okay so which one is better on the GPU?
nixvaldez replied: okay so which one is better on the GPU?
Pretty sure I have already answered this question. If you don’t wanna read this thread, you can go look it up your self.
Their both 560 Ti’s; only difference is one has 2gb of ram and other has 1gb.
Thought the choice would be obvious.

MSI 560-Ti Hawk without a doubt, unless SmAsHeDr proves me (with valid proofs) that 560-ti 2gb reference beats the 560-ti 1gb hawk.
Their both GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 384 Processor Cores.
The Hawk is just clocked higher, but you can clock the 2gb one at the same speed as the Hawk.

@SmAsHeDr i know but like what rajnusker said we need vaild proofs

Okay show me a link where the 2gb or even the 1gb reference is clocked as high the Hawk without over-volting while maintaining low temps. Plus if you manually overclock it that high, you will probably risk your card’s life, and get disgusting temps, that’s why we have the Hawk, super overclocked + awesome cooler = a great card. Btw if you are really speaking about overclocking, Hawk can be further overclocked to higher levels. If you see benchmarks and reviews you would have realized the 560-ti Hawk comes close to the 570 at its stock settings.

No difference between the cards on ultra (with AA) if you run BF3 at 1080p. Beyond that though the 2GB cards win hands down. There was an article on this posted somewhere but i cbf to find it right now.Their both GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 384 Processor Cores.

In most of the games the Hawk is faster than the reference 1gb. Is BF3 an exception to this? And only at higher resolutions the 2gb will come in handy.
rajnusker replied:
Yeah exactly if you run high it at high resolutions you’ll need the frame buffer.-paroxysM^ replied:

so end though 2GB is better

The 2gb model can only be suggested at >1080p. at 1080p and below the Hawk is better. Its OP decision what he wants to do, if he doesn’t plans to run at higher resolutions then there is no need of 2gb.
