Gears of War wargamelive.exe fix?

i had got the game several months ago..and at that time it was having a huge issue with running on winxp with the wargamelive.exe error…there was a way to bypass it the time but eventually it would freeze when u got to a certain point…
i havent really looked into a fix since then. have i missed the fix? is there a fix?
i need to play this b4 gow2 comes out!

is it the direct play version? I’ll what i can get from my version…..

it was the razor1911 release. i installed it to hd and just played it…what is there a non-live version or something?

I remember i got the direct play version and the same error about occured, you need windows live gaming or similar installed and a dll file, it should say what it is once you have windows live gaming installed. Then just google the dll or post here because i seriously cant remember what it was
