Games run choppy
August 5th, 2016
All my games run fine when I start them, but after like 15 mins. of playing, they run choppy for a minute or two, then return back to work fine.
I actually googled this issue but I couldn’t find anything similar to this, they all seemed to talk about games that run choppy from the beginning.
some solutions were to upgrade the hardware of the computer, and others were to download the spybot application and scan the computer for spyware.
I don’t think that my issue has anything to do with my hardware as I’ve upgraded my computer recently and the games I’m playing right now used to work fine before upgrading my computer.
I also downloaded spybot and fixed the problems that were found, but this has done me no good.
So please, if any of you have experienced such an issue and got it fixed, help me!
Sounds like a hardware issue. Drivers up to date?
Are you using cracked version of game. They mostly turn rogue after sometime, if it is not stable crack. Also check game is compatible to your card.

yes, all my drivers are up to date.

I think they are stable ones. And I believe that it’s not the card that is causing the problem, because these games used to work fine!!
I think youre graphics card is overheating, try using youre home fan
Any programs that may be running automatically in the background can cause the hard drive to lag at random…turn off the ones you dont need while playing.
Disconnect your internet connection when your playing offline.
You have to figure out whats causing the problem before you can fix it.
Like said, it sounds like you might have some programs running in the background and taking up your resources.
monitor ur CPU/GPU temperature during the game and check how much it is when it starts lagging.
Maybe the background software, but if that happens after 15 minutes, it sound to me as overheating, as Imutak said. Try to clean up the heatsink from dust and maybe a bigger fan to cool it down.
There was something wrong with the graphics card, but it got fixed.
Thanks all for helping, I appreciate it!
