For how many hours should i charge my new laptop?
It’s been 12 hours and i am charging
I google it and i found out that i have to charge for at least 12 hours and then “A new laptop battery must be partially discharged and fully charged at least five times in order to reach its full capacity.”
is ths true?

its not necessary. company said if you discharge Battery after full charged every time, then battery goes long life.

12 hours is too much. Just let it hit 100% and you can unplug it.

First charge: charge until light goes out or changes colour, then add 1/2 hour.
Use the laptop until it gets to about 10-25% (vary it each time) and then recharge to light out/light changes colour (no extra 1/2 hour now).
Just use it as normal from now on.. Most batteries will last you as long as you need until the next new lappy comes along.
