few Q’s about ps3

hi guys, really need your help this time. first of all, i m quite blur about this whole ps3 stuff. this is only the place i can ask. may i know what is the diff btn ps3 jailbreak, ps3 break and avrkey? are all of them the same that are types of dongle? i am going to buy ps3 soon and the price they sold here isnt cheap. and is really psdowngrade working?

there are alot of different devices that can be used to jailbreak as ps3. a lot of different dev programming boards can be used you gotta find the stuff to flash the board. i’m pretty sure the downgrader only works if you system has been jailbroke in the past (not entirely sure). the only version of the ps3 that can be jail broke is 3.41 so idk if the newest ones coming out are already a higher firmware but is you buy new i would keep the receipt google’s your friends look for forums dedicated to ps3’s cuz they usually have the best tuts

go to psgroove you can read more. Sony are shipping 3.42 now. i havent read any threads asof yet who has downgraded but sources say its legit. for you to downgrade i believe you would need the original psjailbreak as theres a lot of fakes which will not work. but if you wait it should be free as theres someone already working on it for all users.
