Few problems on windows issue

Hi guys,
I have got some strange problems with my computer. There are something is missing on windows, so I have google with each of the issue that I have got problems on windows, but I can’t be able to find the solutions.
Here’s the problems I have got:
C drive – is not showing on all windows programs such as microsoft word, paint, explorer and on my computer. I am using the hard drive on my computer, the hard drive is working fine without have any problems as they are detected. I am running them into windows, but the c drive doesn’t show up on explorer\my computer. I have checked on disk management through on my computer > click right button > manage > disk management. It show that the hard drive is active. How can I be able to read c drive on all programs, explorer and on my computer?
AutoRun – when I insert the cd into cd rom, the cd does not run automatically run in windows. The cd has got autorun.inf and setup.exe. Something is wrong with windows, so how i can be able to fix it to make the cd run automatically on windows?
Windows XP theme style – windows xp style options are missing when I click on desktop > right mouse button > properties > appearance. i can only see that it will only show windows classic style. I have expanded the file luna.ms_ from the cd to c:\temp and then to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\Luna. I have renamed it to luna.msstyles. I have tried to run, but the theme service is not running. So I clicked on my computer >right mouse button > manage > service and application > themes. i tried to get the service start, but i am getting an error: “Could not start theme service on local machine, system cannot find the path specified” error 3. however I have found the solutions through this: http://www.techspot.com/vb/post294746-2.html and this: http://www.mynetnuke.com/Blog/tabid/525/ID/215/How-to-Fix-Windows-XP-Theme-Problems.aspx. Now there are something else is missing, the picture under taskbar appearance and under notification area is also missing. can you please help me to fix it?
WordPad – I can’t find it on start > programs > accessories. I have tried to install it through on control panel > add/remove programs > add/remove windows components > accessories and utilties > accessories, but the name isn’t on the list. All i can see is calculator, character map, clipboard viewer, desktop wallpaper, document templates, mouse pointers and paint. Where I can find wordpad and how i can install it?
If any of you know how to correct the problems, I would be very grateful.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

have you tried a chkdsk /r to see if there is any errors on your disk??

Try full format. maybe windows missing some files.

what version of XP are you running ?
what drive is windows installed to ?
what programs does C: show up in ?
