FEAR 2+Reborn troubles

Hi! I recently got and installed toothless’ FEAR 2 with Reborn and did what it says. I got this error message though when I click on the FEAR 2 exe.

I don’t know what to do. Please help!

This means that Steam is not running.Have you applied the crack properly?

How to Crack F.E.A.R 2 : Project Origin Retail Boxed Version +++ Thanks go to incredible for the instructions +++ The retail boxed version of FEAR2 requires a CD-KEY and activation through steam.
Instruction on how to extract the game files from the DVD’s (2) and then apply the crack are listed below.
Before anything you need 30GB free in the C: drive 1- Create folder with the name (FEAR2 DVD) in the C: drive and it should look like this = C:\FEAR2 DVD
2- Create folder with the name (FEAR2) in the C: drive and it should look like this = C:\FEAR2
3- Copy the contents of DVD 1 + DVD2 to the folder (FEAR2 DVD) and it should look like the image below

4- Download the following file ,, unrar and execute the INSTALL_FEAR2.bat now it should start extracting files of the game to folder ( C:\FEAR2 ) ,, it will stop at 116 and this is normal.
