[EXCEL] Is it possible?

February 3rd, 2020

Is there something / can I create install something which will allow me to sort a whole row according to a column data? What I mean is, that there is a certain column and I want its values to affect where A WHOLE ROW containing the element of this column. Is it possible?
Answer #1
Examples will be better. It’s hard to make sense of your question.
Answer #2
Ok so we have 5 rows, 1 to 5 and say 6 columns, A to F. Values on column F are sorted from largest to smallest. Now when I change a value say, to F5, and it becomes larger than F3 and F4 but smaller than F2, then the whole row 5 goes to row 3 and the other rows move accordingly AUTOMATICALLY (w/o using the “sort” option).
Is that possible?
Answer #3
Yes, you need to add a macro.
