Eee Pad Transformer TF101 or iPAD 2 Advises

hi
plz can anyone with tablet or been using/tried both of these can tell me which they recommend? i have option of getting for my daughter either the Eee Pad Transformer TF101 or the ipad 2.
she play little games, movies and her schools stuff but the things about movies is i dunno ipad will play all those format android cn handle.
plz advise, and also one which can last at least a year before she bother me again for a new one.

The newer Transformer Prime is a better comparison to the iPad 2.

yea but i can’t wait since it’s a birthday present, sucks to have kids born in december, and i got two and xmas lol, you rather get the asus? and prime is not out in uk yet

just tell them a much better version will come out soon. it should be with in this week.
