Are you booting with XP CD, or are you trying to install it in windows 7?
Answer #2
I have windows 7 installed..I wanted to install windows xp…I just got the pc to start by repairing using the windows 7 dvd. But how do i get the option to boot form windows 7 or windows xp ?
Answer #3
You burn XP as image…Set your bios to boot from DC.DVD first..And take it from there…
After installing XP…Windows 7 will vanish…You only be able to boot from XP…
The proper way is to install XP first then Windows 7…
To fix that…After installing XP…Boot with your windows 7 DVD and do a boot repair…That will create the dual boot menu…
Answer #4
So I will loose all of my data if I do this ?
Answer #5
If you install in a spare partition you won’t loose nothing…Apart from the boot menu…But you can fix that as I said above,,,
Answer #6
