Great.. and people keep telling me how easy dreamweaver is to use.. why would they HIDE a function as simple as center text? UTTER MADNESS. I Litteraly try to get started, I write ‘TRY ONE’ (as a name for my first try, even tho in reality its probly my 100th try) manage to turn it into a ‘header1’ text, and then cant even center it. I can only imagine how awfull this software must be to use once it gets more complicated.
I found if u change the properties panel from html to css, THEN you get a center text option.. but then it asks u to create a css file. wat the fuk? all u peopel telling me it was easy? are u from mars?
Well CSS does make things alot simpler and uses less code for your HTML document so in a way its logical. But it still would be nice to have a center text button. I will be using Portable Dreamweaver CS3 for awhile still.
Why so many threads about same problem? In Dreamweaver CS3 and DreamweaverCS4 it has the center button on the properties box that is at the bottom. You click Properties button first so it pops open in CS4.
So i take you are either using old CS3 or CS4 you dont mention which one.
BTW here is video tutorial to show you how to do simple things in CS4

coz its an ongoing problem.. isse after issue….and actually, no offense but obviolsy u didnt look. there is NO center button in cs4.. only in css mode, and its to complicated to get started with
