Answer #1
Get the one with the better graphics card, those models vary in their components so please list links of the actual laptops you are planning to purchase if you want a definitive answer.
Answer #2
I don’t know the reason you need a powerful laptop, but they are not so convenient…
It’s better to have a desktop for power. By the way: here are the specs, they differ only in the video card…
5558
5th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-5500U Processor (4M Cache, up to 3.00 GHz)

5548

Intel Core i7-5500U 2.4 GHz (Intel Core i7)
Graphics adapter
AMD Radeon R7 M270 - 4096 MB, Core: 825 MHz, Memory: 900 MHz, DDR3, Catalyst 15.4 (14.502.1014.0), Enduro

Mainboard
Intel Broadwell-U PCH-LP (Premium)
Storage
Seagate ST1000LM014 Solid State Hybrid Drive, 1000 GB , 5400 rpm, 890 GB free
Weight
2.2 kg ( = 77.6 oz / 4.85 pounds), Power Supply: 320 g ( = 11.29 oz / 0.71 pounds)
Price

As the name implies the first is a little better for the graphic card.
If the price difference is small you should go for the 5558.
Answer #3
Given that the two graphics cards are very similar, as well as the rest of the components, it really boils down to price, and whether you prefer AMD or Nvidia.
That is assuming that both laptops differ only on graphics cards, as I know that the models have variations on the processors.

Actually, the main reason of because I am not choosing 5558 is that it has plastic body otherwise I would definitely select it.

If you can go for the 7000 series, the build quality is 1000 times better.
