Curse of monkey island 3 problem

Please help, I downloaded the curse of monkey island 3 from this post:

And when I play the game the music just starts to loop for 1 second over and over again, as if the computer has crashed. Please help!

Maybe you could install an audio driver or you have to update DirectX.
Go to Windows -> Start -> Run… -> “dxdiag” and check wat is missing on your PC

This happened to me too. I had to download it from another source. Its to do with comi.exe file. When it doesn’t have the cd or hasn’t read it properly this happens. It’s nothing to do with your computer though.
