Corsair vs. Kingston (laptop RAM)
August 8th, 2016
I’m just about buying some RAM for my laptop. Which brand is more realible; Kingston or Corsair? The prices are almost same.
Thanks a lot in advance!
kingston ftw. lifetime warranty. I’ve used many memory sticks from them and a few USBs and all are in good condition thus far.
There’s not much difference really, most of the RAM companies buy their chips from one of the 3 or 4 RAM producers in the world, so there wouldn’t be a noticeable difference in whichever brand you buy. Kingston and Corsair are reputable brands, so buy whichever one you like!
Either one is fine. What matters most is the frequency speed and how much it can hold.
Kingston ftw
A-data ftw

Quoted for Truth!

Corsair But i like G.Skill so far
I’m OK with Kingston, nvr used Cosair
i have purchased ram from both companies and they both are fine, i do prefer Mushkin as my RAM of choice however.
over the years ive used kingston. its the only reputable brand sold in here.
It’s pretty much just an opinion, I prefer Kingston though. G.Skill is my favorite, very fast stuff.
I have kingston and muskin in my system right now.
Both are fine.
I prefer Corsair. But, it doesn’t really matter what brand you choose. They’ll both perform great.
I just got a USB Corsair and im pretty happy with it.
