Corrupted Movie Files or just Download Error ?

December 17th, 2013

I have downloaded some movies and want to move them into my movie folder on the free agent drive. I have an error massage popping up telling me the file is still open in windows explorer. It won’t let me delete those files either. Why am I getting this error and how can I move or delete those files. Are they corrupted ?
Thanks for any help.

Nah – probably just the handle is locked,
use this freeware,
http://unlocker.emptyloop.com/
The other easy way is to open Task manager, end all Explorer.exe running processes, then restart it.
*Edit – or if you watched it in a movie player close down that process, could also be the process you used for downloading the file.
