Connection shutting off during download? [SOLVED]

Whenever I use Flashget to queue a series of rapidshare parts to download, my WiFi connection simply starts failing.
My USB network adapter stops picking up signals, when I try to disable and re-enable it simply keeps showing the loading icon but nothing happens -> I try to reboot/shut down, Vista freezes on the Shutting Down screen and I’m forced to hard-reset.
When I manage to start up Vista again, my connection is fine, but when I start downloading again, the same thing happens.
Any ideas why this is or what can be done about it?

i think that the problem is because of flash get i suggest you change to IDM

Yeah i have this problem with rapget! when i use wireless the internet connection keeps freezing but when i lan it its fine erm what going on?

I have a similiar problem with my dialup. 1/4 of the time when I leave it on overnight to download a large file I wake up to find my internet randomly shut off in the middle of the download.

Nvm guys, I found a solution.
I connected my USB adapter indirectly to my pc through a usb cable, and that solved the problem.
Managed to download all the parts of The Witcher without shutting down once.
