changeing uxtheme.dll

hi well ive downloaded the patched file for windows xp sp3 but when i try pasting it in to C:\Windows\system32 i get the a window which says i cannot do it becouse the file is being used by another person or program :/ any idea what i could do to fix this? thanks in advance!

Best way to conquer that is to do it in safe mode.

nothing seems to work for me.. i give up lol.. better to give up now then crash my system all together thanks anyway guys

try in safe mode. if your using vista download take ownership from here:

thanks patcher seems to work so I could uninstall stylexp and continue to use nice Panther theme
