CCNA Exam in US

August 1st, 2016

Any personal experiences would be helpful if anyone has CCNA certification.
Like how is the exam. Which study material did you refer to. How many months did you study before the exam.

Answer #1
I did CCNA1 & 2 at Uni and I ~love~ HATED it!
I’ve never been a fan of networking before, but it was a compulsary minor for a few years. The tests are usually multiple question so even if you don’t know the content you can guess and get a decent grade. The coursework is easy. The material provided by Cisco is very good.
As for cheating it’s quite easy. People supply the answers on line but the material tends to change a little as I think they give random questions from a pool. Also I used to alt-tab out of the exam and check the notes for the answers.
The final exam is multiple choice too – just much longer.
If you’re into networking Cisco is a breeze up until the CCNA3/4 stuff I believe, but even then it’s not too difficult if you read the Cisco material which they provide in large quantities on their website.
