Please note that it’s nearly impossible to boost your internet connection speed beyond the speed your ISP has given you. At least to my knowledge… But, there are programs that claim to speed up your PC. I’ve tried them, but didn’t see a difference. You can try them if you wish. I’ll list one of the programs below. Please report back if it worked, Or if you want further help.

It isn’t really possible to speed up your internet. However, if you’re using Firefox you can speed it up with this:

it’s impossible. there’s a few tricks to speed up how fast your pc handles something, but the connection itself can’t be changed. get a download manager & you’ll get the fastest speed you can get.

i am having the premium account of rapidshare but i am not able to uload the files with the help of rapid uploader it is aborting the upload can anyone help me out or there are other software available for doing this thing

I just use the main Rapdshare site upload page at http://~ Dead file host ~/index.html
works for me. those uploaders seem to not work for me either.

What is the message you receive? Make sure you allow the RU to access the internet in the Firewall you use.

Kindly help me guys.. m nt able to activate win 7.. i tried the win 7 loader but still its nt activating.. still it shows 30 days to expire.. the same loader worked on my friends pc, but it didn’t work for me.. is there anything wrong?? pls fimme a solution…

did you try compatibility mode?
right click the TC icon -> properties -> compatibility tab -> windows xp SP3.
give that a try.

One way would be to install Windows XP in a virtual machine and running Turbo C in that.
Instead, why not give Bloodshed Dev C++ a try?

I too got the same problem but someone told me that it can be resolved by DOS-BOX……
Download DOS-BOX from somewhere……..
I didn’t get it on .org, so left it….
Ran TC on small screen……

It can be argued that most “portable applications”, especially those that are available here aren’t really portable.
A truly portable application will run off any storage medium without the need for installation, and will not leave any traces on the host computer. Basically a self-contained application.

A portable app for me is one i’m able to use without admin rights, as they’re the only ones i can use. Some have their own registry entries within the programs, while others may say it’s not possible to write to it, but they still work. They are also easier to delete without the hassle and properly installed program can have.

It’d perfectly possible to write to a virtual registry – that’s how Thinstall works.
The virtual reg files are in a sub folder called “skel” something..
Portables do sometimes fail with device drivers that are needed as part of the program.

i don’t have made my final choice but i think these are ok…

I guess it’s all right but what’s your current processor? there’s a chance your mobo may not support the i5 series. be sure to check!

I really need your help with.. :
Years ago i’ve bought an mobile external hard drive of “Dane-Elec” in a big mall. The brand is from France. It’s a black one with orange letters on it and it’s one of 250GB memory.
Now.. the problem is that the usb cable is broken. It’s a usb cable with 2 usb outputs. Now i can’t connect it with my pc and i’m in really sh*t because i’ve all my programs and stuff on it!! I went to the mall but they don’t sell ANYTHING no more of that brand!! :s:s:s
What now??? I’ve googled it but without success!! I’ve even sent a mail to the company but i didn’t get a response!! I’m going crazy people!!

Is it a regular USB cable, or is one end stuck on drive?
If it’s a regular cable, you could buy those for a couple of bucks. Search for Mini USB Y Cable. Or any type of connector it is.
If you can’t replace the USB cable. the best solution is to open the hard drive casing and take out the hard drive. You could hook it up internally in your PC, or buy a new HDD casing and put it in there. They’re pretty cheap too.

Should work with a regular USB cable, the extra connector is just for more power to the drive if your USB ports don’t have enough to run the drive… I have never needed the extra connector on any of mine…

On most of these, well all the drives I have anyway, the main USB plug on the cable is data & power, the other is power only and has no data connection…
