My main computer has a printer connect to it with the modem, and I once connected to the printer wirelessly from my laptop through the router. Anyway, my laptop somehow disconnected from the printer, so I’ve been trying to connect the same way as before, (Control Panel/Printers and Faxes, etc, network ptiner,then locate) but when I double click “Microsft Windows Network” expecting my printer to then show up, it loads, but nothing happens. I’ve tried several times, and have made sure that the computer and the printer are on, but no dice.

Is itry this:
go to network shares
double click on the computer that has the printer installed
then the printer should also be there along with shared folders
right click on it and set it as the default printer
