Cant instal adobe flash player

Hi all,
I just re-installed windows on my old laptop. Now I am trying to install flash to watch clips on youtube and it seems i cant install adobe flash player
does anyone know how to get this thing on my laptop ?
I downloaded the SP3 version of windows xp …

Do you get any error when you try to install it?

when u install flash player. u must close all browser.

Make sure everything is up to date on your system first!
Uninstall it using an uninstaller program, like YourUninstaller.
Uninstall them all, there are 2 different versions, one for IE, and one for FF.
Run a cache cleaner, like CClener as well as a registry cleaner (included with CCleaner).
Restart your computer, then re-install a fresh version of Flash player from the Adobe website.
If this does not work, try re-installing your web browser or using a different web browser to solve the problem.

My advice is download one of these links.

http://aihdownload.adobe.com/bin/install_flashplayer11x32ax_aih.exe
That is the installers from adobe site. Do not ever install flash through browser, install from installer from adobe. These are the direct links, one for ie and one for non ie, other browsers.
