Google can help you – this picture is little old but it is the same thing – in Your Bandwidth preferences i can guess it is set to “0” – you have to change it – i don’t know how to turn it off – so set it to 1kB/s:

I remember “back in the day” lol… when I used to download torrents, setting the upload speed “to low” wouldn’t work…. I had to settle for 10 Kbps..

DraZenFILJE, he also wants to stop seeding, FFS. Read the thread!
You need to set your seeding ratio and set it to stop when it reaches it.

And SmAsHeDr if may ask one question – when torrent reaches the seeding goal it Means that torrent download is complete, right or….
Because while you downloading some torrent file you will seed no matter did you finish with downloading.

It always seeds during download. You limit your upload speed during that case.
My method (in my screenshot) will stop the torrent when it is done downloading and prevent seeding (no matter how much has been uploaded).
PS: Just put a 1 in max upload rate and you will never upload over 1 kB/s while downloading, and the torrent will still stop when finished.
But this is just for public torrents. You cant leech on private trackers, they don’t like that =(

i think i also need to unclick that line seeding tasks have higher prioruty than downloading tasks
Answer #10
It’s pretty selfish that you want to stop seeding it but haven’t even leeched it all the way yet.
You’re the reason most torrents don’t work.

Don’t matter. You will never have seeding task with the settings I highlighted in red, lol.
At that point, that check box becomes meaningless.
Answer #12
just saying here. you should really be seeding, at least while your downloading
it’s pretty selfish and the reason you’re able to download is because other people are seeding
