Call of Duty 4 health system problem

I’m not exactly sure how to put this….I’m sure you’re all familiar with the health system in call of duty 4: you get shot, the screen turns red and the sound of the character’s heartbeat becomes loud and you just need to stay out of enemy fire and your health will eventually regenerate. well when I get shot my health won’t regenerate and then only one shot and boom, I’m dead…I searched all over the internet and couldn’t find an answer…so, can anyone help me with this weird problem? :

What difficulty are you playing on, maybe it matters?

Maybe if you re-installed the game it might help.

I re-installed it 5 or 6 times…I even tried my friends copy and still I had the same problem.

Maybe if you re-installed windows? Or tryed a different windows?

have you patched your game to the latest version which i belive is 1.7.

I think I tried to patch it before but I’ll give it another try! …I was already thinking of re-installing windows, that’s my final and only option left. thank you all for your help

hehe, you’re right, but call of duty is not JUST a game
