Buying a Laptop

Looking to buy a laptop, not Lenevo. Must have CD/DVD player, I3 processor. Would prefer slimline if possible, willing to pay up to £400. Anyone any suggestions.

Have you tried the “configure it yourself” type places – I got mine from Scan 3XS, they did a decent job.
And you can play with a feature list to get best bang for quid and the things you want.
