Burning, recording, or computer problem

I’m not sure where my problem is. All of a sudden I’m having major problems with any movie I download and burn. It shuts off before the end. I have tried the discs on more than one DVD player and it still happens. I have tried more than one set of links and it still happens. I bought new DVD’s in case I had bad discs. It still happens. I downloaded newer versions of my burning and converting softwares and it’s still happening. I don’t know what to do.
Does anybody have any idea what might be happening? Thanks for any help!

I use Format Factory to convert and Ashampoo Burning Studio to burn them.

I don’t think it’s the converter because I just tried Allok 3GP PSP MP4 iPod Video Converter and got the same result. The video shut off before the end while we were viewing it.

When u used allok video convertor did u also use ashampoo

Yes. When the problem first started I was using Ashampoo 9. I’ve been using it more than a year. I deleted it and installed Ashampoo 10 but the problem remains.
EDIT: I downloaded the program you suggested and converted the file with it. I got sound with no picture.
