Burning files onto a DVD

I want to burn some video files onto a DVD, there MPEG4 format.. would that be a good format to put them on the DVD or would i have to convert the file into something else for it to work??

Why u want to convert them ?
It should’t be a problem Burning on DVD, it has to work with ANY File you upload …

Are you wanting to play them on your DVD player?
Look on the front of you DVD player, does it have a sticker or something that says, “DIVX”
If it does just use Nero Burning Rom and burn the files, you don’t have to convert them.
If you don’t have a DIVX DVD player, use Nero Vision.

Yeah i am wanting to play them on my DVD player.. is there any links available for them programmes?

Check first to see if your DVD player is DIVX or not.
Because if it is you can fit 6 x 700MB movies on a disc and it will take 5 – 10 mins to burn.
If it’s not you can fit maybe 3 movies on a disc and it will take 4 hours to burn.
