Burn Vista To DVD & Please Help

Some1 Help Please,
I have just download vista From http://www.google.com?t=2319758&highlight=
And it worked when I run it from my pc which repaired vista.
but now I want to format my computer which I burned the vista to a DVD by using the vista burn.
★ But when I try to start the DVD from the start up it doesn’t load the disk I also tried the boot menu but it still doesn’t load up★ Please Help :

after downloading did u get an iso or rar file having all the vista files(i mean files that are in the iso extracted directly to a folder!!!)

I got an RAR and I extract it the I got some folders including the setup.exe and then I selected all and clicked the vista burn.

That won’t work since you extracted the ISO. It doesn’t have the boot section of the image anymore.. You have to use an ISO burning program, such as PowerISO. Load the ISO into that program, and then hit Burn… Then do what you tried before, go to the boot menu, and hit boot disk..

You need to go to your Bios and change the Sata options from AHCI to ATA or IDE….

Do you know how to access the Bios?
Just look for the sata option…AHCI might not even be there..It depends on what motherboard you have…

Yes, as lioden said, you need to set your drive to IDE/ATA… What Computer do you have?… (Be exact, don’t say Dell, say Dell Inspirion 3000, or what every PC you have.)

Hmm.. What type of HDD are you using? Is it in RAID? or a SSD?
And, from what I see in there, there’s nothing in that section… In the Gigabyte motherboards, Alt+F1 puts the mobo in an “advance” mode, that might show some extra settings.. Try that. (Try Ctrl+F1, and Alt+F1..)

your first question I didn’t really understand but i think is RAID.
i tried that Ctrl+F1, and Alt+F1.. i only get a little pop e.g. saying how to use the buttons.

Umm, If its RAID, you need to have RAID drivers on the vista install.. I personally do not use vista, so I don’t know if it comes with them… You can download the drivers from intel.com.. (Look for Intel Raid controller drivers)

Open Nvidia Raid setup and see what options you have there…You can disable the Raid Mode for a starter…I doubt it that you are using Raid…That’s probably part of the problem…
