Burn avi to iso dvd

I download a bunch of movie in avi but my parent want to watch it on a dvd player
I try nero vision and ConvertXtoDvd
but it always recode all of them … take a long ass time which is fine
After it recode it start to burn and it always fail on the burn … don’t know why
Any one suggest a program to do this ?
Or show me a correct way … maybe i should write it as an image files before i burn it to dvd

Check out DVD Flick, it’s open source and works great.

Make sure to change Project/DVD settings and enable burning.

i have this kind of prob with ‘cheap’ CDz. maybe DVDs are the same… get good BRAND DVDz like Verbatim.

I use WinAVI to convert the avi into the necessary DVD format (.vob) and it owns. It also lets you burn the .vob file onto the DVD so you don’t need any other program + the burning speed is pretty quick (it took me fifteen minutes to burn 2012 onto a DVD).
