I’ve been using a duel booted Mac with Mavericks on one half and Windows 8 on the other for several years now and recently I’ve been having real issues downloading files on the Windows side, some file are fine but most chug along and time out causing me to manually pause and restart them every 10-20mb I’ve tried switching Anti-virus software ( I’m currently using AVG free) different browsers and refreshing all my drivers but the problem persists if anyone else has had this issue and fixed it please let know. The Mac side is fine using the same browsers namely Firefox and Chrome.

Uninstall the AV completely to determine if its the cause (http inspection)
