bootable stick

Hey. Which method you guys recommend to install xp to a bootable usb stick? I tried wintoflash tool, but don’t think it worked. Unless the hard drive bad on the laptop i trying to install it on.

Rufus is supposed to be pretty good..

When you have the stick made up, don’t forget to plug it in and go into bios and set the usb stick as the first boot device (and the HDD as second).
If it boots OK you should get the normal Windows install screens..
When the install is mainly finished, it will say to reboot….Remove the stick when you do that so it will boot up on the hard drive.
Some older computers don’t always like booting from USB and only really like installing from a CD.

Excellent the rufus tool worked well, thanks again man. One more question can u recommend sellers when purchasing memory? Is crucial.com good?

You can’t really go wrong with RAM, considering even most generic brands offer lifetime warranty
It only really makes a difference if you require overclocking.

I normally order my electronics etc from the US. Maybe it have a PSY there. How do you guys know the type of ram desktop and laptop needs? I usually use a scanning tool from crucial site. What method u guys recommend?
