BIOS has APIC not SLIC-reason for Windows activation issues?

December 17th, 2023

So after some troubleshooting, I’ve figured out my BIOS does not currently have SLIC. I’m assuming this could be the problem I’ve had with my Windows activation issues (same copy working fine on 4 other computers in my house but not mine). My motherboard is a GIGABYTE GA-790XTA-UD4, it’s a pretty new board, not sure why it doesn’t have SLIC. I found a modded file that was supposed to have SLIC however Everest is still reporting that I have APIC and not SLIC. This is driving me bananas and I will be EXTREMELY grateful to anyone that can help.

Go here:

Find the Modded BIOS with the SLIC 2.1 thats specific for your machine, and use it to flash the BIOS.
Then use 7Loader 1.5 Hazar (not the loader part, use the part that loads the OEM certificate and activates it).
I got mine there for my Dell machine, they have safe and reliable modded BIOS (look at the huge number of users) and my Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit been perfectly activated, never prompted me to activate.
Warning:
Be very very careful when you flash your BIOS. If the flash gets interrupted for any reason, your computer is fried and won’t work at all.

Slic only found in OEM systems…
You can flash your bios with a hacked bios from the link above…..Slic 2.1…
After that you no longer need to to use loaders/activators..If you add the $oem$ folder to your Windows install DVD…It will auto activate after installing..You can also find the $oem$ in the link above..
If you don’t want to go into all that trouble…Then use one of the activators…
