January 23rd, 2020
I had moved some files from my internal HDD to external HDD, now the external HDD is crashed… I wanted to undelete as many files i can salvage from the my internal HDD…
suggest me some good software(s)…
tried to google but got confused…..
Thx
now the external HDD is crashed...
Could you be more specific?
suggest me some good software(s)
It’s not really about the software, It’s about the availability of the data itself!
Once data is overwritten (Replaced by other data), It’s permanently gone! So you might not be able to recover all of it. Now back to the original Q, If
it was deleted from a secondary Internal HDD (Non-OS) then use this app:
http://www.google.com?t=15066342&start=0
If it was from the main (Or only) Internal HDD (That runs the OS) then use this bootable app:
http://www.google.com?t=17203237&highlight=
If using the 2nd app – Download/Extract/Create boot cd from another computer!! – This is very important
Set all that aside, You MUST have another HDD (With enough free space) to recover the data to, This is an essential requirement for any kind of data recovery (DO NOT attempt to recover the data to the same partition it was deleted from – It’d render it useless and permanently corrupt!!)

will this work on Win7 64 bit…

Is this case for the first app as well???

Yep. But as said before, This option would only be suitable if it was deleted from a secondary (Non-OS) HDD.

For any app!
It’s data recovery 101 – Since it’s only recoverable til overwritten, You should NEVER attempt to recover the data to the same partition it was deleted from (Would be a total loss!)
i have 2 internal HDD, 1 contains the OS, the other is storage…
i want to retrieve files from storage, so can i copy recovered data onto the OS HDD, i dont have any another HDD
so can i copy recovered data onto the OS HDD
Yep, That would be fine!
