Best Bookkeeping Program for UK Self-Employed
January 23rd, 2020
I’ve researched the web and there are a ton of programs – I had no idea how times change and how many applications are available these days.
I’m trying to get myself back into work from fighting ill health and I’m going self-employed doing physiotherapy. It should be a basic income and outgoings, but at the moment I have zero clients. I’ve opened a business bank account to keep things separate and I’m simply just looking for a piece of software either free on the market or available or that I can use to assist me with basic book-keeping of income and expenditure. Something that’s credited for when self-asses too.
Any Ideas?
Thanks.
You will have to disclose from which country due to different programs gov fees etc from one country to another… Other then that, you can make one using MS Access, that uses a general user interface for easy input. I guess a little easier said then done if you havnt used the program before, but if you know the information you have to keep, I personally think its easy to build one…
Also searching bookkeeping in the apps section, change the setting to check both topic and text gives a handful of options..
I’m from UK, as per topic Title.
Thank you for your reply though, It seems ‘FreeAgent’ is a very nice program for basic self employed but it costs.[code]
Intuit has good programs to choose from, they are available here, if you want to try a free program then GNUCash or Manager are my suggestions (Manager is very versatile imho). You can build from scratch using MSAccess or LibreOffice Base, there’s a learning curve for this.
