Best antivirus for Win 7
August 23rd, 2013
As in getting updates to antiviruses sounds like a problem
FINAL DECISION: COMODO
Nod32 or Kaspersky
you should try microsoft security essentials
7HarryPotter7 replied: you should try microsoft security essentials
never use these
they don’t provide overall security
go for Avast IS or Kaspersky

100% free forever from microsoft… it is very good and i guess it got some awards… you can check it in wikipedia….
download from the official site (there are some fake programs out there)
http://www.microsoft.com/en-my/security_essentials/default.aspx
Microsoft Security Essentials is good for Windows 7 and it is free so you don’t have to find keys/cracks because AV keys get easily blacklisted.
Nod32
If you got any way to get your hands on Microsoft Security Essentials, then Catch It….
Or Else Go for Kaspersky 2012, but Pure is waste…
ESET Nod32 AV is one of the best!!
microsoft security essentials
kaspersky is the best, but if you want free and basic protection then microsoft security essentials, will do.
For no frills easy and quick anti virus use MSE if you want a bit more advanced AV go for Avira or Avast for free or Nod32 or Kaspersky (will have to continuously update the keys as the manufacturers are hot on the heels of crackers, fake serials etc…so a bit of a hassle
You don’t need to keep looking for keys for eset smart security only if your looking to setup a server to share the updates over a lan (without downloading from the Internet on every computer) which needs a .lic file
Just use mara fix 1.5 on all the clients it resets the trial so you can update indefinitely without entering keys
Ive used it for years with no problems.
Remember the best antivirus is your brain.
However, KIS 2012 + Malwarebytes + Threatfire = AWESOME!
Avg sucks. Uninstall avg
Use Free avast and free maware bytes
Free avast
http://www.avast.com/en-gb/index
Free malware bytes
http://malwarebytes.org/
I use AVG Internet Security Business Edition 2011. It is the full version, never had issues with keys and unlike the non-business edition it doesn’t have those dumb extras included like pc analyzer. I just set my firewall to allow all for default and it never bugs me.
avast free works great for me
Let’s end this once and for all.

Comodo seems to be a reasonable free AV.

k i finally ran out of my trial version for Norton….
I’ve decided to go with Microsoft essentials.. it’s a little slow but hey I guess it’ll do for now
I’d suggest Kaspersky or BitDefender!
AVG Internet Security 2011
i use KIS 2012, its all i need
I use AVG and Malwarebytes
Avast Internet Security
Well I’ve finally decided to use COMODO… seems to be working fine for now..
