Back to file sharing and need some advice

years ago i used to use P2P sites to download software, music, ebooks, and such….now it seems everything is torrent based instead of just straight downloads like i used to do…i need some advice on how and where to go and what the best ways to get free software and music….for example i’m looking for some mp3 editing software and windows 8 for my laptop….how and where so i start so i can get this and much more…please help an old guy get back in the swing of things…

First of all….nice 1st post
Secondly, go to the correct sections and search and you’ll find what you need. The Apps section will have Windows 8 and an mp3 editing software like GoldWave.
