ATI graphics card driver

what’s the most stable version of ATI graphics card driver?
because now i have 8.11 the newest version.. but it seems that its not so good!
because i’ve just installed Tomb Raider Underworld and i cant see thae environment in the game and I can’t see Lara as well.. only her eyes and her hair LOL

maybe its your video card you did not mention what video card you use
