I want to know if I can find this saved webpage on the tablet and transfer it to my PC or USB. The device isn’t rooted and I have searched high and low but I can’t locate the file I can only view the webpage on the tablet but I want the file so I can email it and keep it stored for later uses. In case your wondering it is not a webpage I can get or reload again.
Thanks!
They’re apparently saved within the ‘snapshot.db’ file in the ‘Android/data/com.android.browser/files’ directory on the SD card or external memory.
You could use a database browser like the one mentioned below to sort through the data.
Info page:
http://sqlitebrowser.sourceforge.net/
And here’s the download page:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/sqlitebrowser/
I did that now how do I extract or save the webpages so I can save them to view in firefox or other browser on my PC?
Can I be able to view these saved webpages from the snapshot.db file on Windows7 as I can on Android tablet, if so how?
you can use Chrome and not go through the hasel of saving and then viewing….you can sync all your android devices using chrome….so if you save something in chrome on your mobile device you can view it in all other device connected…saves you precious time…
