AMD x4 for XP..

September 28th, 2013

hey all.. i just looking for a little bit of infor… I have 2 Hard drives, one will be for games and the other will be of general use… First how do i go about putting a boot log thing in so at the start of when i turn the PC on, i get to choose each hard drive to load, i have done it before, but i have got no idea on how i did it…
And second..i have a range on OS’s ranging from xpx64 super, to win7x64 untouched and everything inbetween. Does the XP x64 use a 4core processor, i know AMD came out with a fix for the dual core.. but now for the new processors?? Basically i play alot of SIMS 3, and that game users alot of RAM, so i trying a get one hard drive just for the sims…xpx64 super, or win 7 gamers ???cheers

Why install the SP2? Its out of date. If you want XP get the SP3 unless you got more than 4gb ram that is. In that case Windows 7 is the best you can get. Btw SP2 x64 should work find with AMD x4.

Get Windows 7 x64. Choose the version that suits you.

The limit is not 16GB but 128GB. And Yes SP3 is released in only 32-bit architecture.
