Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings LAN Crack

I do hope someone on this forum can help me out here. I’m in desperate need of a crack or a patch that will enable me to play Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings on my local LAN. I can’t play it because I do not have the CD. I’m using a no-cd crack for single player games, but I would also like to play it against my friends. Is there a crack that will enable me to play it without asking for the CD? I also tried creating a disc image file and mounting it with Daemon Tools, yet it still did not work. I installed the official AOE2 V2.0a patch prior to copying the no-cd crack, if that will help. Please, any assistance is welcome as I have given up trying myself. Thank you
Yes it can be done by mounting it. Download the ISO, mount and install AoE. Keep it mounted and don’t put the 2.0a patch in. I have 2.0a working on an mounted ISO by simply using a cracked exe- no MS patch.
