I had my Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty for over a week and no problems so far. I just connected my front sound to the sound card today. Now heres the thing, the cable running from the front sound input has an AC97 option and a Azalia option. I connected the Ac97 and it works great. I know Ac97 is older technology, so im wondering, is there a difference at all on which one i connect? Or am i getting the same performance since its the same wire?

Azalia is the codename for high definition audio. It isn’t a big deal though since you got a separate sound card.
