3DS XL

I got a 3DS XL for xmas, just thought id pop by and see if i can get a new game or 2, seen a few but dont know how to get them working on my 3DS, feel rather silly.
Can anyone help please?

you mean like a flash cart to load games on? you cannot play 3ds games but you can load nds games on it
I just want to play games on my 3ds via downloading instead of spending �30+ on games..

make sure you never update 3ds…you cannot play 3ds roms tho only regular nds roms…you pretty much put this hack card into your ds with a slot for a micro sd card in it…load the nds files onto the sd card and when you turn on nds a custom screen pops up where you can load the games on the micro sd card

No you have a sd card in its slot you need a flashcart and a micro sd card to put in it then depending which card you get it will need patched and/or a kernel appropriate to whatever firmware your 3ds is running.

i posted a link on my 2nd comment and listen to gasman also pick one or the other…you need the hackcart you will put the micro sd card INTO the hackcart… then the hackcart goes into the game slot//bigger the ds card more games you can hold
PS when i did this with my DS Lite i had a 8gb micro sd card and I had 147 nds games on it
