where is the post saved?

hello i hosted phpbb3 on my new website.i want to know where the post and threads are saved.is it saved in sql or ftp i need to take back up so i didnt know what should i take the back up off

i think that there is an option somewhere under ‘maintenance’ in the admin area for backup/restore

no sorry it didnt help me…that option takes only the backup of username and password etc etc
i want all the posts..

Threads and posts for phpBB are located in the SQL database.
POSTS are located in:--
-- Table structure for table `phpbb_posts`
--
TOPICS are located in:--
-- Table structure for table `phpbb_topics`
--
Both can be found in the SQL database when you export it.
