Not messed up music

September 22nd, 2013

So i have been downloading music recently but ive noticed a very annoying problem… the names of the songs and all the other important information are usually very weird and messed up like crazy names and no album artwork. I spend loads of time trying to clean up one song and i dont even know if i got it right, downloading more than one is literally a nightmare! So im wondering if theres a site or program where you get the original version of the song so that everything is peachy. i know that people do post that kind of awesome stuff here but you never know until you download it and i dont really have time to check ever single link. Thanks.

Get TuneUp if you are using iTunes.
Answer #2
Use MP3Tag to tag them and put the appropriate album cover on the songs. It’s very easy to use and doesn’t take long.

I 2nd MP3Tag, I use a combination off Foobar2000 & MP3Tag.. Foobar2000 is an excellent way off seeing all fields not displayed in explorer.exe when right clicking properties of a music file.
Foobar2000 – I use to edit all the fields.. which gets applied to the back off the file then finalize with Mp3Tag to pull the rest of the info to the front off the file.
It takes some time but after a while it’s real simple & only takes 2minute job sorting out an album or discography’s can take a like 15minutes depending on how bad it’s messed up.
I have roughly 6,000 files all processed with correct tagging format & hi res album art scans from albumartexchange.. I only keep music that I like so once it’s done it’s done and don’t forget to clone or backup your hard drive or else you risk loosing all that time u invested on small tedious things like title tagging
