Dvd file too big.

Well, I wanted to burn a dvd and the disk has 702 mb space.
The movie is 722 mb or something. Is there any way I can make the video smaller so i can burn it on that DVD ?

if it is already in dvdFormat, u could use dvdShrink

You can also buy a bigger CD. You can get a CD with 800 MB on it. Also, there are no DVD disks that are 700 MB, only CD Disks. Good luck mate^^

Oh, well then I guess i have a CD disk, But Can I put movies on it tho ?

have you tried to put it on a CD or you just think it’s to big ?
700 mb (1024kb/mb) = 730 mb (1000kb/mb)
virtualdub(google it’s free) can trim the file in “direct stream copy” mode

1) cut the last part 2)Buy a bigger CD – Like DVD ( of course if you have DVD recorder in your pc . YOu can buy a DVD of 4GB )

I’m not sure all dvd players play all video CDs..

a “video cd” (VCD or SVCD)
or a divx/xvid movie
which we talking about
most, if not all DVD players play video cd’s
most, but not all, newer ones play divx/xvid
