[solved] GTA IV not starting

Today I installed GTA IV. But its not starting
It says
GTA IV FATAL ERROR
Why is that

have you subscribes to windows live games stuff and rockstar social club?
have you cracked it?
just do like they said in the first post of the topic where you downloaded it from

What is the error code that you get ?
Fatal Error. Here is a list, that might be useful

Did you say you have service Pack 2 ? GTA IV requires Service Pack 3 to play. The error is RMN 40 Most probably. Incase you dont wish to download, install, change your service pack, or waste your time doing so, you can use this simple registry trick. It makes it work. This is the same trick that I use with my PC, as I dont really have the patience to download and install service pack 3

get the SP3 dude and change your graphics card and quad core processor if possible
if you can’t do, then revert back 2 replay old GTAs
he doesnt really need to get SP3. I have given a crack for that

He doesn’t need to change his processor or get SP3 just to play the game… where in the system requirements does it state that, ?…
Since you have bought the game, maybe you could go get some Technical Support from Rockstar themselves?

Well, he needs Sp3. It was was the same error for me while installing the game.
