Games slow?

hi i had a g force 8600 gt an games were running at a good speed
tat graphics card fried so i bought a ati 4670 an the games run slower an get stuck up in the middle! ! any solutions?? plss

Have you installed the latest drivers?
Check this website:
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx
Choose the operating system etc. Follow the instructions and you will be prompted to download the driver. Install it afterward.

So youve switched from an Nvidia card to an ATI card. Did you uninstall the previous Nvidia graphics display driver before installing the ATI one?

A HD4670 is slower than a 8600gt so it makes sense that games run slower as you changed to a slower graphics card.

what processor do you have? having a poor processor actually decreases the performance of a high end graphics card.. (or is it the other way around? i doubt it but it might be a possibility but not in this case it sounds like)
