Help Please: Ex My Rar’s to Get An AVI File but got MP4?

Hi All Basically ive downloaded a set of rar files & extracted them as i normally do with winrar, but instead of getting a avi file that i would burn with convertxtodvd i have a mp4 file that convertx doesnt recognise.
Can anyone suggest how to get around this problem, is there a package to convert from mp4 to avi so i can burn to dvd?

Try changing the file extension from .mp4 to . avi and see how you go (have got that to work with some media players) or you could use Nero Vision to make the DVD as that recognizes .mp4 which is a Nero format..
If it has to be converted….then Total Video Converter is on that will do the trick
