Now what to do. plz tell me. I want to make my PC as fast as a racing car.
Thanks in advance.

Basically the 64 bit of the PC is the processor. However, it’s necessary for your Mother Board to support it so if your MoBo doesn’t support it you’ll have to get a new one. Also, what type of processor do you want to get? Dual Core? Quad core? And finally what kind of budget are you looking at? Please answer these questions and good luck mate ^_^

It’s an Intel Core 2 processor type and it is rather expensive

Keep in mind that converting to 64 bit also requires a 64 bit version of windows and additional 64 bit software. Many apps designed for 32 bit are not available as 64bit.
You need to ask yourself, why do you want to convert…what do you hope to gain?
A good CPU that wont break you ($$$) and supports 64 bit is the Pentium-D.

I think i must have done my calculations wrong because i get 5000 Rupees to be 65 lol! Good luck

I’m sorry but I have to correct you HAL. You can still install a 32-bit operating system on 64-bit hardware. I have 3 operating systems in my desktop pc – XP 32-bit, Vista 32-bit, and Kubuntu Linux 64-bit.
I’m an AMD person so I got a AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Dual-Core Processor. You can compare the processors here and see what fits your budget.

I got an Asrock ALiveNF7G-HD720p R1.0 as the motherboard, unfortunately, the minimum it supports is PC533 for the memory, anyway PC667 and PC800 memory modules have significantly dropped in price.

Answer #17
the only processors worth buying now are all 64 bit the older 32 bit are outdated and harder to get the numbers refer to the data width that is moved on eack clock cycle so 64 in theory moves data twice as fast as 32
