How Do I extract a .rar file without knowing the password ?

I NO THERE IS SOMETHING LIKE THIS BUT I CANT REMEMBER!!

There is no way you can do it, the only other way is to use a bruteforce program

If you have the download link, search the link on google. Most probably ul find the password. if the same link is shared of many forums
Or Consider using a bruteforcing tool, but that might take a hell lot of time

rar ctracker can take forever but you could get lucky
as said google is the best chance if its a widely available rar

all those so called password cracker/brute force don’t work…
the only trick that worked for me is to google the name of the archive and check all the links that looks like the most… and check if a password is attached.
most of the time it works since it’s only one post that get copy-pasted everywhere by lame posters who forgot to add the password.
don’t forget to take advantage of the google “cached” version if you want to check a member-protected website.

Not with the http://786.rapidshare but normal http://www.rapidshare
