live messenger problem

when i try to log in to msn, i get the error thing with we cant sign you in becase your contact list isnt available right now. but when i try to sign in with my little brother, or big brothers account, it works just right. i’ve tried using ebuddy and downloading a portable live messenger, but nothing is working for me and yesterday everything was working fine :S And only my account has the problem. anyone know what to do (rather not system restore, but if its the only option then ill have to do it)

System Restore isn’t necessary.. Try reinstalling Windows Live Messenger first.

why do people persist with Messenger, use aMSN….it’s a hell of a lot easier to use and you don’t get all the errors that you are getting with Messenger, actually you don’t get them at all. If you like the cool options that you have with messenger, then you are destined to open threads like this..

try this…go into ur app data and then Roaming>Microsoft>MSN messenger and delete wats in the folder.

Googled that error, and got this.
If you’re getting an 80072f19 error when you try to connect to MSN Messenger, check out this site. Here’s the best bit.
This worked for me:
Start IE & select Menu – Tools – Internet Options – Advanced
Under Security Section – Clear the “Check for server certificate revocation (requires restart)� check box
Start MSN Messenger beta 7 again & you’ll have to issue your passport account information again. You’ll receive one more error. Login again and it will work.
